Knowledge base builder for AI voice and chat agents

Your AI agent should never give a caller the wrong answer.

A business’s information is scattered across its website, brochures, rate cards and the notes in your head. KB Builder brings it into a knowledge base your agent answers from, with every fee, timing and rule kept with the service it belongs to. Anything missing comes back to you as a question, before a caller asks it.

Start free, no card. Works with Vapi, Retell, ElevenLabs or any platform that takes a document.

Built for every industry,
with what its callers ask

  • IVF & speciality clinics
  • Real estate
  • Schools & colleges
  • Resorts & homestays

The real work

Everything a caller might ask is in five different places

Before an agent can answer, someone has to pull it all together, and keep it together every time the business changes something. That someone is usually you.

  • WebsiteTwenty pages, a fee table, a footer with timings
  • BrochuresA PDF from last year, and one from this year
  • Rate cardsPrices by service, season or unit type
  • PoliciesCancellation, refunds, what to bring
  • Your notesWhat the owner told you on the phone
A knowledge base your agent can useEvery fact in one place, each with its service, and a list of what’s still missing.

Why knowledge bases break

Your AI agent doesn’t read the way you do

A person reads a page from the top and keeps it all in mind. An agent is handed a few pieces of your document, with nothing around them, and has to answer from those alone. A knowledge base written for people breaks there.

How a person reads

  • Top to bottom, the whole page
  • Remembers the heading above a price
  • Sees which column a number sits in
  • Knows when something isn't said

How your AI agent reads

  • A few pieces cut out of the document
  • Nothing above or below each piece
  • A number, with no idea what it belongs to
  • Fills anything missing with a guess

The usual ways to build a knowledge base all write for the person:

Paste the website link

Written for people browsing the site

Where it breaks

  • Pages get cut into pieces, and a fee lands in a piece without the service it belongs to.
  • Only the website goes in. The brochure, the rate card and what the owner told you are left out.

Ask ChatGPT for a summary

Written for a person to read through

Where it breaks

  • Neat to read, but it merges what differs on purpose: two similar plans, weekday and weekend rates.
  • Once cut into pieces, its short lines lose what they were about.

Write it by hand

Written the way you'd explain it to a colleague

Where it breaks

  • Hours per client, and it covers what you thought to ask, not what callers ask.
  • It goes stale the day the business changes its website or prices.

KB Builder

Written for how your agent reads

What you get

  • Organised the way agents read, so every piece stands on its own.
  • Website, documents and your notes, brought together.
  • Every fee and timing stays with the service it belongs to.
  • What's missing comes back to you as a question, never a guess.

Why we built it

Our own agent quoted the wrong price. Twice.

We built a voice agent for a resort and tested it with live calls. Twice, a caller asked the price of a day package and the agent answered with another product’s price: a villa’s once, a cottage’s the next time. The model was fine. The knowledge base had a price in one place and the name of what it belonged to in another.

So we built the file differently, tested it on live calls, and then built KB Builder to write that file for any business. Here is the builder’s own run on that resort’s website.

  • 19pages of the website read
  • 13products found, each kept apart
  • 378answers written, each traced to its quote
  • 33 / 33checks matched the file tested on live calls

How it works

From a website to a file your agent can trust, in three steps

  1. Step 1

    Add everything you have

The business's website, its brochures, rate cards and policy documents, and notes you type in. The builder reads all of it and finds everything the business sells.

  2. Step 2

    Answer what's missing

You get a short list of what callers will ask that none of it answers, most important first. Answer what you know; skip the rest.

  3. Step 3

    Download and load it

A Markdown file, ready for Vapi, Retell, ElevenLabs, Chatbase or any platform that takes a document. No setup on their side.

sunrise-fertility-centre-knowledge-base.md

## IUI (one treatment cycle) at Sunrise Fertility Centre: price and what it includes

IUI: one treatment cycle, ₹12,000 per cycle, including the procedure and one follow-up scan. Whether the IUI price includes medicines has not been confirmed.

## IVF (one treatment cycle) at Sunrise Fertility Centre: price and what it includes

IVF: one treatment cycle, ₹1,20,000 per cycle, including egg retrieval, lab work and one embryo transfer.

A few lines of a file. The clinic is made up; the format is the real one.

What’s different about the file

  • Each sentence names its product

Even when retrieval hands your agent one chunk on its own, the price still says which treatment it is for.

  • Unknowns are written as unknowns

If the website doesn't say, the file says it hasn't been confirmed. Your agent offers to find out instead of guessing.

  • Headings callers' questions match

Every section is titled with the product and what it covers, so search inside your platform finds the right one.

Industries

It knows what your client’s callers will ask

Each industry has its own knowledge model: the questions callers of that kind of business ask. The builder checks the website against it and tells you what’s missing.

  • Resorts & homestays

Room and package prices by day, check-in times, meals included, child and pet rules, cancellation.

  • IVF & speciality clinics

Treatment prices and what they include, doctors, consultation fees, timings, insurance and EMI.

  • Real estate

Unit types and prices, sizes, possession dates, amenities, site visits, loans and approvals.

  • Schools & colleges

Fees by grade or course, admission dates, eligibility, timings, transport and hostel.

  • Any other business

The general model: what you sell and its price, hours, location, booking, payment and policies.

Questions

What builders ask us

If you build voice or chat agents for businesses, you have probably said one of these.

My client's bot quoted the wrong price on a live call. How does this stop that?

It happened to us too, twice, on our own test calls: a caller asked the price of a day package and heard a villa's price, and later a cottage's. The cause was the knowledge base, not the model. A price sat in a chunk without the name of the product it belonged to. KB Builder writes every price and timing into a sentence that names its product, so even a chunk on its own can't be read the wrong way.

I already paste the website link into Vapi or Retell. Why isn't that enough?

Because the platform copies the pages as they are and cuts them into chunks. Websites put prices in tables, cards and footnotes, far from the product name. And a copy can't tell you what the website never says, which is exactly what callers ask about next.

I patch the knowledge base after every bad call. Will this end that?

Most patches fill a gap a caller found for you. The builder finds those gaps before you go live: it works from the list of questions callers of that kind of business ask, and shows you which ones the business's website, documents and notes don't answer, most important first.

Does it work for my clients' industry, like a clinic, a real estate firm or a school?

Yes. KB Builder is built for every industry. It knows what callers of clinics, real estate firms, schools, resorts and other businesses ask, checks the business's information against it, and tells you what's missing.

Which platforms does the file work with?

Any platform with a knowledge base. It is a Markdown file: Vapi, Retell AI, ElevenLabs and Botpress take it as it is; Bland AI, Synthflow and Voiceflow take it pasted as text; Bolna takes it saved as a PDF. Our platform guides show the steps for each, from each platform's own documentation.

What does it cost?

Your first build is free, with no card, and shows you everything found and everything missing. Downloading the file needs a paid plan, from ₹1,499 or $19 a month for 3 client knowledge bases.
